What We Collect. Which Is Very Little.

What This Website Stores

Nothing about you, on our side. There is no database attached to this site and no user accounts. We do not have a customer list that lives here.

If you arrive from an advert or a link carrying campaign tags, your browser holds those tags for the length of your visit so we can tell which channel sent you. They are cleared when you close the tab and are never linked to your name.

What Happens When You Book

Choosing dates asks our reservation system for a price. That request contains your dates and how many people are coming — nothing that identifies you.

When you decide to book, you are handed to our reservation provider to complete the booking and pay. Your name, contact details and card information are entered there, on their systems, under their privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.

Once you have booked, we receive the ordinary details of a reservation: your name, contact details, dates and party size. We use them to host you and to talk to you about your stay.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get read, where visitors come from, which links get clicked.

This is aggregate and behavioural, not personal. We never put names, email addresses or phone numbers into analytics, and we never attach them to a web address.

Analytics only runs on the live site. Anything we are testing does not report data.

Cookies And Similar

Analytics sets cookies to recognise a returning visitor. Campaign tags are held in your browser for the visit only. We set nothing else.

Browser settings and privacy extensions block all of it if you would rather. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Who Else Is Involved

Our reservation system handles bookings, payments and the guest records that come with them. Our hosting provider serves these pages and keeps standard server logs. Google provides analytics and, where we show one, maps.

We do not sell anything about you to anyone, and we have no interest in doing so.

Your Information, Your Say

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. For anything held by our reservation system we will pass the request on.

There is no form to fill in. An email is enough.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them. Guests must be twenty-five or over to book.

Changes

If this changes we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting more than this page describes.
