White Adirondack chairs pulled around a lit fire table beside the cottage porch, with the blue roof overhead and the lake and far shore beyond.

A Weekend For Two · Dinner For Two

Somewhere To Go For Dinner.

Most couples here plan one dinner out and spend the other night by the fire at the cottage. These are the places we would pick for the night out.

The one thing to plan around: the best of them serve dinner only a few nights a week, and some book up. Check the days before you settle on a weekend.

Before You Drive Anywhere

Every place here was checked, and each one says where the information came from and when. Most come from the business’s own website or the agency that runs the park; where only a third party vouches for a place, we say so. Policies change, especially on busy summer weekends, so a quick call is never wasted. If you find something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

Then Back To The Dock.

A one-bedroom cottage on the east shore, where the sun goes down over the water in front of your chairs.
